UBC Okanagan hosts Western Canadian 3MT Competition

What: Western Canadian 3MT Competition
Who: College of Graduate Studies, UBC’s Okanagan Campus
When: Friday, April 29, 2 to 4 p.m.
Where: University Centre building, room UNC 200, 3272 University Way, Kelowna

UBC Okanagan will be hosting this year’s Western Canadian 3MT. The event will see 15 of Western Canada’s most accomplished graduate students compete and test their ability to explain their research in just three minutes to a non-specialist audience. Aside from the use of one slide, no props or aids are permitted in presentations.

Mike Unrau, PhD from the Faculty of Creative and Critical Studies will represent UBC Okanagan at the competition.

The event will be livestreamed and you will be able to enter your vote for people’s choice online if you’re unable to attend the event in person. To watch online, visit: wcdgs.ca/western-3mt
