Mindfulness as professional development: smartEducation at UBC
Silent retreat organized for Aug. 29
As part of smartUBC’s ongoing health and wellness initiative, a four-hour silent retreat led by Karma Yeshe Rabgye is being hosted on campus on August 29.
This retreat is open to all staff, faculty and students.
Karma Yeshe Rabgye is a western monk in the Kagyu tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. Originally from England, he now lives in the Ashoka Buddhist Temple in northern India where he teaches Buddhism and meditation classes to people of all ages.

Summer 2016 workshops for the Essential Administrative Skills Series
These courses, workshops and eLearning options focus on human resource system training, software skill development and building knowledge of process. They provide training opportunities for staff who primarily deal with administrative tasks.
