The consultation process for the Learning Technology Environment Renewal project at UBC is fully underway and organizers want to remind the campus community that you more opportunities to give input, starting with a town hall on October 5.
During the last month faculty and students at both campuses have been surveyed to capture the pedagogical and functional requirements that support faculty in meeting their teaching goals and students in their learning.
This is for the upgrade or replacement of Blackboard Learn, also known as Connect.
Town Hall
Hear from Cynthia Mathieson, provost and vice-principal academic, about how the Learning Technology Environment Renewal project supports UBC’s teaching and learning mission, from faculty and student secondees who have been leading the project, and what the project team has learned from gathering faculty and student feedback from surveys, feedback sessions, and interviews.
This is also an opportunity to ask questions and provide input about your requirements about the project.
