Get your teams ready for the inaugural Great Pancake Race
UBC Okanagan’s United Way campaign begins the day after Thanksgiving — Tuesday, Oct. 11 — with a big pancake breakfast in the central courtyard (7:30 to 10:30 a.m.).
At 9:45 a.m. cheer on teams competing in the first-annual UBC Okanagan Great Pancake Race. For your chance to claim the Gold Frying Pan, enter a team of four (costumes encouraged) by Friday, Oct. 8, and be ready to run, flip and win!
The fun continues Friday, Oct. 14, with our United Way Pt Stop in the University Centre Ballroom (UNC 200). For $2 you’ll get coffee and goodies, and for $2 more you can try the triathlon — golf-putt, balloon badminton and the bean-bag throw — for a chance to win UBC gold chocolate medals!
