Broad-Based Admission (BBA) Readers play a vital role in shaping our UBC Okanagan student community and the future alumni of the University.
What is involved? As a BBA Reader, you read and score prospective student personal profiles, which prospective students submit as part of their admission application.
Training is provided and participants can identify how many reads a week they are able to do. Reading and scoring a personal profile generally takes about 5 minutes with the appropriate training. Factor in how diverse and interesting the applicants are, and participants gain a whole new perspective of our student community.
And don’t forget: weekly, monthly and year-end prizes are awarded to dedicated BBA Readers.
If you would like to be a BBA Reader during the 2017W admissions cycle or would like to find out more, please contact Diane Dyrdal or Halyna Petryshyn at admissions.ok@ubc.ca.
