The Canada, BC, Okanagan Nation Alliance and UBC Flags at UBC Okanagan and the Canada flag (at Flag Pole Plaza) and the BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (temporarily relocated to the East Mall Entrance and Plaza at the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre) on the UBC Vancouver campus, will be lowered on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 in remembrance of former Premier of British Columbia, John Horgan, who passed away on November 12, 2024. Mr. Horgan served as BC’s 36th Premier from 2017–2022.
