The deadline for nomination packages is fast approaching for a prestigious UBC research award. Members of the campus community still have until next week, however, to submit a letter of nomination for the Award for Excellence in Research and/or Creative Scholarly Activity.
The Excellence in Research award recognizes a faculty member who has made a significant contribution to research during their appointment. The award consists of a $5,000 cash prize and is presented annually during the Celebrate Research Week Gala.
Faculty members, deans, unit heads, alumni and students are all invited to submit nominations for deserving recipients of this award.
