SubTerrain magazine’s latest issue features a special spotlight folio that highlights the work of four undergraduate and three graduate students from UBC’s Okanagan campus.
Issue 61 of subTerrain features a supplement that opens with a foreword by creative writing professor Michael V. Smith and features creative work from graduate students Kristin Burns and Clay McCann, as well as creative writing students Kirsten Barkved, Lee Hannigan and Dylan Lenz, all of whom live in the Okanagan.
The works of recent MFA graduate Portia Priegert and BFA graduate Murissa Shalapataare also featured prominently in the spotlight.
SubTerrain is a contemporary Canadian fiction, poetry and visual art publication. It features many of the top progressive writers in the country and this supplement is a huge boost to UBC’s hard working creative writers and graduates.
