Students from UBC’s Okanagan campus are currently participating in two important surveys: the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) and the Canadian Universities Survey Consortium’s (CUSC) Survey of Middle Years Students. Both surveys launched on February 12 and will close on March 31, 2014.
The NSSE and CUSC are the most established tools for measuring the effectiveness of an undergraduate education at universities. The results will help inform UBC about overall undergraduate student engagement and satisfaction as well as provide information to help improve programs and campus activities for current and future students.
Everyone on campus is encouraged to help raise awareness about NSSE and CUSC.
A toolkit of resources is available for those interested. It includes web graphics, a PowerPoint slide and social media messaging. Printed handbills are also available for front-counter spaces. To request the toolkit, please contact regan.truscott@ubc.ca.
