International Programs and Services is excited to welcome Carrie Karsgaard to the team. Staring February 23, she will be moving from the UBC Student Recruitment and Advising office where she has worked since 2009.
Karsgaard holds a Master’s degree in literature and religion from Regent College, and she is nearing completion of another Master’s degree from UBC on global citizenship education and educational and representational aspects of international engagement.
Her background in education, diversity, cross-cultural conceptions and reconciliation will bring a significant practical and theoretical knowledge base to the International Programs and Services team.
She is excited to see UBC students thrive in their programs and their lives outside of classes. And would love for you to visit her in the Fipke Centre anytime.
