There is no doubt that research rocks at UBC’s Okanagan campus and this year’s Celebrate Research Week (March 5 to 9), is the time to tell everyone how.
The event lineup includes the first-ever Research Rodeo challenge on March 8. With three minutes on the clock, undergrad and grad students will tell the world why their research matters, with hopes of unsaddling their competition and lassoing money prizes and audience votes.
Registration for the Research Rodeo is now open and the first 12 undergrad and grad students to apply will be accepted. UBC faculty and staff can encourage current UBC students to register in this fun academic competition.
