Here are some professional development opportunities for faculty and staff at UBC’s Okanagan campus over the next few weeks:
Centre for Teaching and Learning starts new term with a full slate of workshops
This workshop will provide an opportunity to learn more about the purpose and contents of a teaching portfolio. Participants will be given examples.
Snagit is a screen capture program that can assist in the creation of quality Word documents and presentations. It allows content that appears on a computer screen to be captured as either an image or video.
In this workshop, participants will examine various midpoint feedback strategies and hear from faculty who currently use midpoint feedback to enhance their teaching and the student learning experience.
