The UBC Okanagan United Way campaign started with a big week of events Oct. 5 to 8, including a barbecue hosted by the Students’ Union, a bake sale organized by the Faculty of Creative and Critical Studies and a book sale by the UBC Okanagan Library.
None of this could have happened without all the dedicated campaign volunteers who participated. The kick-off week raised over $2,600 for this year’s campaign.

Anyone interested in contributing to the UBC Okanagan United Way campaign is reminded that a great place to start is with the October 6 email sent to all employees. The email contains a personalized link to make a payroll pledge online.
