New online job board service available for students at no charge
UBC is partnering with the Central Okanagan Economic Development Commission and a variety of local organizations to offer a new employment tool for students: Magnet
Magnet is an online, data-rich software platform that matches the skills of students looking for work to the needs of employers who have jobs to offer.
Already very successful in Ontario, this employment tool was launched in February in the Okanagan.
Magnet doesn’t charge job-seekers to use the service and can be found at: ubco.magnet.today
